About the Artist
Pearl Sarcauga-San Ramon is a dedicated cosmetic tattoo artist and makeup artist based in Cebu City, Philippines who initially started a makeup company in 2008, DollFace Cosmetics, specialized in selling makeup palettes. This inspired her to further venture into the fascinating realm of beauty by training at Basement Academy in Mandaluyong and later on at the prestigious Make Up For Ever Academy in Paris.
Her many years of experience in the makeup industry paved the way for her career in cosmetic tattooing. In 2014, Pearl decided to explore into permanent makeup after being inspired by her husband who is a body tattoo artist. To officially start off this endeavor, she pursued training in Malaysia and in the United States so she can offer eyebrow microblading and powder brow tattoo by using the latest techniques and equipment from abroad.
Pearl's beauty philosophy and aesthetic focuses on the natural and feminine aspect of her every client. She particularly enjoys bridal and beauty makeup, a field that she excels in, yet she doesn't simply limit herself to those kinds of projects. As an eager artist, Pearl doesn't hesitate to dip her brushes into fashion and editorial makeup as well.
Aside from being a makeup artist, Pearl is also a teacher of basic makeup- offering classes in her studio in Cebu City. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and skills to budding makeup enthusiasts as well as meeting new people from all different walks of life.
In 2014, Pearl was also recognized as one of "Cebu's Ten Young Entrepreneurs" - an award that she holds dear to her heart as she has worked tremendously in improving her craft and is looking forward to improving along with experience.
